- Where do the questions come from?
- AI writes them from the job description you applied to – tools, systems and domain knowledge named in it. Every card is checked three times against official documentation before you see it. There is no generic question bank.
- Can I prepare?
- Not really, and you don’t need to. The cards check what you already know from working with these tools, at the level the job asks for. Skipping a card you are unsure about never counts against you; a wrong answer does. Guessing costs more than skipping.
- Is the microphone used?
- Only if the recruiter turned it on and you agree on the start screen. Then, two or three times, you explain an answer out loud for up to 20 seconds. The recording never changes your score – it shows you can explain your reasoning. The AI does not analyse your voice, emotions or personality.
- What is recorded?
- Your answers and how long each took, tab switches and copy attempts (shown to the recruiter as signals, not verdicts), and the voice clips if you agreed. No camera, no screen recording, no keystroke logging.
- Who sees the result?
- The company that invited you, under the label they gave you. If they share the project with a hiring manager or client, that person sees the same report with a one-time code – never your e-mail.
- How long is it kept?
- 90 days after the check, then everything is deleted automatically. The company that invited you is responsible for your data; JD Swipe processes it on their behalf (EU hosting).
- Can the AI reject me?
- No. The report says, for each skill area, whether your answers were at the level the job asks for, plus observations for a person to review. The hiring decision is made by a human – that is how JD Swipe is built for the EU AI Act.
- Something went wrong?
- If the link expired or the check is paused, ask the recruiter for a new link. For anything about your data write to privacy@jdswipe.com and we will forward it to the company.
